A community, not a crowd
At More Than English, every student matters. Teenagers choose courses that reflect their own interests and ambitions, while our small size allows us to get to know and support each student as an individual.
British and international teenagers live, learn and spend time together, building friendships across nationalities and using English naturally throughout the day.
Our 1:4 staff-to-student ratio and personal support from a team led by the school’s founders, who are on campus throughout the summer, help students settle in, grow in confidence and feel part of the community.
Learning designed around you
Students choose a morning Subject or Sports Academy and an afternoon Pro Specialism from the options offered during their stay.
Every week combines 15 hours of morning learning or coaching with 10 hours of afternoon Pro Specialisms. Choices include English Language, Advanced English, Global Leadership, Tennis Academy, Golf Academy, professional sports coaching, creative courses and outdoor adventures.
Life beyond lessons
Moor Park’s 20-hectare campus is home to the whole summer-school community. Alongside their classes and coaching, students enjoy a full programme of activities and evening events, as well as organised excursions to explore Britain.
House Parents and the wider team help students settle in, become more independent and feel confident trying something new.
